Does the System Store Patient Data?

All data generated by the SphygmoCor XCEL is stored locally on the PC where the software is installed. No data is uploaded to the cloud.

Regular database backups are strongly recommended to protect against data loss. The institution is responsible for:

• Managing encryption of backups where required.
• Restricting physical and digital access to the workstation.
• Complying with applicable data protection regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
