Network and Internet Requirements

Internet access is required for the following:

  1. Downloading and installing the XCEL software.
  2. Periodically validating the software license (required for XCEL v1.5 and later). Continuous internet access is not required during day-to-day operation.
Note: IT teams setting up an XCEL workstation should confirm that the relevant domains are not blocked by firewall rules
