Pairing Your Pulse with the App

Note: Your mobile device must meet BLE minimum requirements: Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) version 5.0 or above.

 

 

Step 1: Where You Can Pair

The Pulse can be paired in three different areas of the CONNEQT app:

During Account Creation

After entering your demographic information, you’ll be prompted to pair your device.

Tip: You can skip this step if your Pulse isn’t nearby and complete pairing later.

From the Home Dashboard

(Available if pairing was skipped earlier.) Tap Pair Device.

From Device Settings

Tap the hamburger menu ☰ → Device SettingsAdd Device.


    Step 2: Before Pairing, Confirm the Following

    • Bluetooth permissions are enabled for the CONNEQT app.

      (Some Android phones also require Location permissions.)

    • Bluetooth is turned on.

    • The Pulse is awake (screen on).

    • The Pulse and your mobile device are within a few inches of each other.

    • The Pulse is not charging and not taking a reading.

       

     

    Step 3: Select Your Device

    The app will search for available Pulse devices and display a list of nearby devices.

     Use the last four digits of the MAC address (found on the back of the device) to identify and select your Pulse.


     

    Troubleshooting Failed Pairing Issues:

    The mobile device was moved away during pairing.

    Keep your phone and Pulse close together until pairing completes.

    The Pulse was previously paired and not removed.

    On your phone: Settings → Bluetooth → Info (ℹ️) next to your Pulse → Forget This Device. The Pulse will appear as Pulse_XXXX (last four MAC digits).

    The Pulse is currently paired with another phone.

    If that phone isn’t available, factory reset your Pulse: press and hold both buttons for 10 seconds.

    ⚠️ A factory reset erases all data not yet transferred to the app. Use only as a last resort.

     

    Important Notes

    • The CONNEQT Pulse is a prescription-grade, FDA-cleared medical device designed for single-user use.

      Each Pulse can only be paired with one mobile device and one CONNEQT account at a time.

    • If others in your household want to use the Pulse, they’ll need their own device.

      Replacement or extra cuffs can be purchased if needed — but each Pulse remains calibrated to a single user.
