Routine Device Care

Cuff Hygiene (After Each Patient)

  • Wipe cuffs with an approved disinfectant after each patient use.
  • Allow cuffs to fully dry before the next patient.

Note: Ensure that the cuff Velcro and tubing connection areas are dry before reuse.

 

Workstation Care (Daily)

  • Keep the Surface Pro or PC clean and free of liquids.
  • Clean using only a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the device; apply it to the cloth first, in accordance with your facility's cleaning policy.

 

Pre-Session Device Readiness Check (Before the First Patient Each Day)

  • Confirm all cables, cuffs, and connectors are intact and firmly connected.
  • Inspect for visible wear, including cracked housings, frayed cables, kinks, leaks, or damaged connectors.
  • Replace any damaged components before use.
