What's Included with the XCEL System?

Standard Components (All Configurations)

  • SphygmoCor XCEL device
  • Power supply (AC adapter) — always use the supply provided by CONNEQT Health.
  • USB cable — connects the XCEL device to a PC or laptop.
  • Optional storage tray (if purchased) — provides a mounting platform and storage for cuffs and the tonometer.

PWA-Only Accessories (Pulse Wave Analysis)

  • Brachial cuff (pneumatic, with tubing). Common sizes: Adult 23–33 cm; Adult Large 31–40 cm; Adult Extra Large 38–50 cm.
  • Cuff hose (PWA) — approximately 1.5 m, with connectors at both ends.

PWV-Only Accessories (Pulse Wave Velocity)

  • Tonometer — non-invasive pressure-sensing device used for carotid pressure measurement.
  • Femoral cuff (light blue) — large, thin pneumatic cuff. Common sizes: Adult Large 31–40 cm; Adult Extra Large 38–50 cm.
  • Cuff hose (PWV) — approximately 2 m, with connectors at both ends.

 

Troubleshooting

We received the XCEL device but no cuffs. Cuffs depend on the configuration purchased. Verify whether your order was PWA-only, PWV-only, or both. If items appear to be missing, contact your CONNEQT Health representative.

We have cuffs but no tonometer. PWV workflows require a tonometer. If your order was PWA-only, a tonometer may not be included.

Cuff sizes don't fit our patient population. Confirm the cuff size range available to your clinic and contact your purchasing contact to order additional sizes as needed.

Can we use a third-party power supply? No. Use only the power supply provided by CONNEQT Health to avoid performance and safety issues.
